Personal Data Application

General Explanations

Personal data owners (hereinafter referred to as “Applicants”), who are defined as relevant persons under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVK Law”), are granted the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data under Article 11 of the KVK Law:

  • Learning whether personal data is being processed.

  • Requesting information if personal data has been processed.

  • Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in line with that purpose.

  • Learning the third parties, domestic or abroad, to whom personal data is transferred.

  • Requesting the correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data.

  • Requesting the erasure or destruction of personal data.

  • Requesting that the correction, erasure, or destruction of personal data be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data was transferred.

  • Objecting to a result that is to one's detriment arising solely from the analysis of personal data through automated systems.

  • Claiming compensation for damages in case personal data is processed unlawfully and causes harm.

You can apply for these rights by following the explanations below.

According to the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, the following information is mandatory in your application:

  • Name, surname and signature if the application is written.

  • T.R. identification number for citizens of the Republic of Türkiye; nationality, passport number, or identification number, if any, for foreign nationals.

  • Residence or workplace address subject to notification.

  • E-mail address, telephone and fax number for notification, if any.

  • Subject of the request.

You can submit your application to us by filling out the Personal Data Application Form and using one of the methods listed in the table below. If the mandatory information is not included in the Personal Data Application Form, your application will be deemed invalid. You may add any relevant information and documents to your application, if applicable.

Attach the Personal Data Application Form to the email and write ‘Application under the Personal Data Protection Law’ in the subject line of the email.

Your applications submitted to us will be responded to as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest from the date your request reaches us, depending on the nature of the request, in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 13 of the KVK Law. For written applications, the application date will be the date on which the document is delivered to us. For applications made through other methods, the date your application reaches us will be considered the application date.

We will deliver our response to your application in writing or electronically in accordance with Article 13 of the KVK Law. When filling out the Personal Data Application Form, you can mark the channel through which you would prefer our response to be delivered to you. If you do not specify your preferred response method, the response to your application will be forwarded as follows:

  • If you have a KEP address, electronically to your KEP address.

  • If you have previously provided us with your e-mail address and it is registered in our system, electronically to that e-mail address.

  • Otherwise, in written form to your notification address.

Our company does not charge a fee for personal data applications.
